What is the Abbey Marina?
The Abbey Marina was opened in 1963 and is the only protected marina on Lake Geneva. The marina has 417 wet slips. Each slip has electrical, wireless internet access, and water located on all of the docks but not in each individual slip. The Harbor House offers showers, restrooms, a lounge area with fireplace and large screen TV, and an outdoor swimming pool.
Is the Abbey Marina a “Clean Marina?”

Do you have Wet Slips?
We do have 417 wet slips at our facility.
What is the depth of the marina?
The harbor depth is six (6) feet on average.
Do you have Dry Storage?
We have in-season PWC and PWC trailer storage in the South Wall Lot that will hold up to 30 trailers. up to 30 trailers. Please see the current rates tab. Please contact marina staff for availability and cost.
Do you rent boats?
We currently do not rent boats from our facility. However, Gordy’s Lakefront Marine (262.275.2163) does rent speed boats & Jerry’s Majestic Marine (262.275.5222) rents wave runners and pontoon boats.
What do we do if there is an emergency after hours?
In case of an emergency we have a security service that is on from 9:00 pm – 7:00 am Daily. The Harbor House is staffed from 7:00 am – 9:00 pm Daily. If need be they will contact the Harbormaster.
Do you allow live a-boards?
Yes. People are allowed to live aboard their boats in season.
Do you offer new or used boat sales?
We do not offer new or used boat sales.
Do you have on-site pump-out service and how do I arrange for pump-out service?
All pump outs is done through Gordy's.
How far away is the beach?
The Fontana Beach is located right across the street.
Are there any beaches nearby that we can drop anchor and swim?
Big Foot Beach located on the East end of the lake is a great anchoring spot to go swimming or relax and watch the beautiful Geneva Sunsets.
Are there any restaurants on the water that we can get to?
There are many great restaurants around the area. You can find out great restaurant information from any of the marina attendants.
Are there any fixed bridges in the area and if so, what is the height limit?
There is a fixed bridge that you must go under to access the lake it is a one-way bridge controlled by traffic lights. The height is 12’6”.
